Project: Eco-shop

Updated: Aug 19, 2021

Design 1: “Jangan Risau Harga Kami Tidak Berbisa”

Idea: Price point Concept: Receipt / Snake Rational: An injury caused by the bite of a snake, especially a venomous snake can cause pain and swelling around the bite. Having a long list of shopping receipts at Eco Shop will never hurt your wallet or budgets. Even by spending “that much”, you still did not spent “too much”. To indicates that, I used snake as the metaphor for the receipts collected at the checkout counter. “Kami tidak berbisa” means that Eco Shop are the shop that allows you to fill your trolley without any great damages to your finance. Every items that you can find in Eco Shop have their RM2.10 price tags. Hence, you can still feel safe even after you shop till you drop. As the information on the poster is very minimal, they can scan the QR code that will bring them directly to the shop’s website.

Design 2: “Total How Much?”

Idea: Malaysian Slang (Bahasa Rojak) Concept: Coins Rational: From my personal view, if there is anything that we can afford with only four pieces of 50cent coins and a piece of 10cent coin, it is indeed, very affordable. Since Eco Shop is a local brand, I decided to impliment the Malaysian slang to attract audience’s attention. It might sounds off for an English Nazi, but, it also sounds catchy and more relaxed. The target market of this brand is local people too, and I think it will work out just fine as there is no need for this print ads to sound serious. The next possible customer to cross may be in a hurry. There, I put together the QR code that should able to provide all the information needed. They can also snap the picture of the poster and scan it for later use.

Design 3: “It Cost Only This Much…to Splurge With Us!”

Idea: Budget Concept: Coins Rational: The rational of this print ads is to emphasize that the price tags for every items in Eco Shop is just RM2.10 which is pretty much inexpensive or reasonably priced. Considering the quality, one should not felt hesitated to buy them. I used coins instead of Ringgit Malaysia notes because I wanted to truly highlight how budget friendly they are that one can even buy things using only coins. It is also an opportunity to keep your budget in check. For the existing or possible customers that wanted to know more about this shop, they can just scan the QR codes provided. The customers can also reach the Eco Shop Customer Service by browsing through their website right after scanning the code.
